January 16, 2019 the Edison Job Corps partners with NAACP member Bill Casey to add Stem programming during the evening studies program. The Stem and Civics program will enhance the students ability to gain exposure to careers within the Stem industry. The program will also include a public speaking component and panel discussions from key community figures. STEM is important because our world depends on it. The economy, our general well-being—it’s all backed by science, technology, engineering, and math. Thus, when we refer to STEM, it’s not just coding and lab coats it is about enhancing out students future.
