March 19^th 2018- The Deputy Director, BCL, WBL, CTS Manager, Food Service Manager and Culinary Arts Instructor attended the Taste of Middlesex event at the Pines Manor. This year selected students from the Office Administration trade participated in registering guests for the event, assisting vendors with setting up and providing exemplary customer service for all guests and patrons. The highlight of the event was the fabulous food provided by  EJC culinary students. The students were welcoming, friendly and attentive to the needs of the guests quickly providing service with a smile. The culinary students presented a decadent array of dishes that positively showcased the proud work of the Culinary Arts trade.

Several restaurants and organizations were also in attendance who provide food locally to surrounding towns to demonstrate their cuisine, provide samples and raise awareness of the amazing diversity and quality of dining in Middlesex County. Overall, the event was successful and allowed students to use a variety of different skill sets and network with influential governmental officials and employers.
