Delectable Food Prepared by the Culinary Arts Students for the Multi Chamber Business Mixer
Culinary Arts students played a major role in ensuring a success of the Multi – Chamber Business Mixer which Edison Job Corps Academy hosted on October 4th in our gymnasium. Businesses from Edison, Plainfield, Pert Amboy, Woodbridge and other areas of New Jersey participated in this event which allowed us to present information about the Job Corps program. It was a very successful event. Display tables were provided and many staff from EJCA attended to network with employers. Following the event we have received emails and phone call complementing on the event and sharing job openings as well as asking for any future events. TriCountyJournalOnline conducted few interviews with participants and EJCA staff. Culinary Arts students prepared “All around the world” food to celebrate Polish, Italian, Philippine, German and Hispanic heritage recognized in the month of October.
