To enhance center culture and student transitional success, Edison Job Corps hosted an Outreach & Admission (OA) Day in October, which included thirteen OA staff members from CHP as well as center’s Volunteer Recruiter, Counselors, Management Staff and Center Director. To review applicants’ qualifications, academy’s offerings and center standards, individual presentations were conducted by our Center Director, Deputy Director, CTT Manager, Counseling Manager and Academics Manager. The overall program focus was to arm recruiters with detailed information about Edison Job Corps so that applicants are fully prepared to learn, grow and succeed at Job Corps and in the workforce.
