April 27, 2018- The BCL hosted the Edison Job Corps Academy quarterly Community blood drive for students. Students were focused on saving lives through blood donation for local hospitals and urgent care clinics in need. The Edison Job Corps Academy came together to make a difference for people in need. The automotive staff and cafeteria staff also participated in the event demonstrating through example that one pint of blood can save up to three lives. EJC student testimonies were also captured for the local blood bank website thus highlighting the impact on a more public scale. Overall, the event was a success and our center came together for the greater good!
