In October students and staff from Ramey, Oneonta, Glenmont, Northlands and Loring centers attended our Advanced Automotive Open House at Edison Job Corps. The program agenda included remarks from Center Director, Jibu Kuruvilla as well as our Deputy Director, Windy White; CTT Manager Randy Crane and an Advanced Automotive Student Representative. Additional remarks were provided by UAW-LETC Program Director, Dan Hall and New England Consortium Liaison, Julie Strzempko. Special guests included UAW-LETC Wayne Duke, NY/NJ Consortium Liaison, Allison Galgano and ETR Executive Director, Vailiida Niifa. The program included a tour and classroom observation of the Advanced Automotive Trade and a group visit to our student dormitories. Attendees were encouraged to promote our Advanced Automotive Program to students and to continue to work with center staff to strengthen our partnerships and mutual success. Breakfast and lunch were provided by our culinary students.
