On July 18, 2018, The Edison Job Corps Academy BCL and selected students from the Carpentry department volunteered with Habitat for Humanity to support building a home for a family in need the carpentry students were professional, and demonstrated the skills learned in carpentry such as reading blue prints, shaping and cutting wood, safety guidelines and helping to shape the roof and cleaning and organizing the work site the Job Corps carpentry students worked to fulfill its mission. “Loretta Rivers Home Owner Service Manager and Kamili Williams CEO and President of Habitat for Humanity” greatly appreciated the effort of the students.
