Two seven foot, free standing, red ribbons were built and painted by Earle C. Clements construction students for Matthew 25 AIDS Service, a non-profit community partner. The ribbons were displayed on the grounds of Henderson, KY churches for World AIDS Day, December 1, 2010. Matthew 25 Director Lesi Nelson hopes the large red ribbons will help start a chain of events that include education about AIDS, the understanding and caring that are apt to come with education, and finally the desire to help.
