Sixteen students from the Earle C. Clements Job Corps Academy graduated on Tuesday, August 30th as part of the National Job Corps Academy Graduation Day commemorating the date President Lyndon B. Johnson signed the act that created Job Corps in 1964. Center Director Jeffrey Barton and guest speaker Michael Pape joined the graduating class for their official class photo.
Electrical diploma recipient Jonathan Jones delivered the graduate commencement address. Louis Bishop received his diploma in cement masonry and the Center Director Award for his positive attitude, gains in literacy and numeracy and outstanding leadership.
