Here at Earle C. Clements Job Corps Academy, we love giving back to the community.  On November 20, 2022, the ECCJCA Student Government Association partnered with local business owners at the Candyland Downtown Holiday Open House. The SGA pitched in and helped out wherever or however they were needed. Possibly their favorite task was assisting local children in cookie decorating.  Also at the same event, nine of our ECCJCA Culinary Arts students participated in a live cake decorating contest that was voted on by the community. There were a total of 4,480 votes, with the first place winner receiving 1,156 votes. The first, second and third place winner’s photos with their cakes were featured in the Sturgis News.
