Staff at the Earle C. Clements Job Corps Academy were feeling the spirit of Christmas as donations began pouring into the Center Director’s office for the children at the Uniontown Elementary School. The school serves many underprivileged students and were afraid that some of them might not have any gifts to open under their tree.  Always the problem solvers, they started a community wide initiative to acquire enough donations for every single student at their school to have a present to open.  If the bags and bags of toys, games, hats, gloves, earmuffs, slippers and candy that were carried out of the CD’s office are evidence, I’d guess that they surely reached their goal. And ECCJCA staff sure seemed to enjoy being Santa’s little elves, if only for a moment.
