In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, the Earle C. Clements Recreation department sponsored an “I Have A Dream” essay contest, where students were encouraged to write about their dreams, goals & expectations while here at ECCJCA. The Recreation department hosted a pizza party for all of the entrants, where the winners were announced and everyone had the opportunity to read their essay aloud. The 1^st place winner, Jack Wickham, won a $50 gift card, the 2^nd place winner, Skylar Altizer, won a $25 gift card, and the 3^rd place winner, Eduardo Vazquez, won a $20 voucher to the student union. Congratulations to all of the winners! But, in our humble opinion, they are all winners!
