On November 16, 2011 the Detroit Job Corps Center partnered with Veterans Administration and held a Disable Veterans Job Fair. Some of the participating businesses were: Fire Catt, Hewitt Package, US Steel, Aerotek and Sysco. Many disable veterans came to the Job Fair. The Detroit Job Corps Center hired one of the veterans who attended the Job Fair.
