On November 10,2011 , the DJCC Homeland Security  Trade trainees attended the John D. Dingell Veteran’s Hospital Veteran’s Day Celebration. They also had an opportunity to meet and speak with Congressman John Dingell at the celebration. Detroit Job Corps Center staff and trainees celebrated a week of various activities to celebrate  and honor our veterans. Events included: Disable Veterans Job Fair, DJCC Veterans Ceremony and a fundraiser to send Care Packages to veterans serving on active duty.
