The Detroit Job Corps Center’s (DJCC) trainees volunteered for the  America’s Congressional Black Caucus Job Fair and Town Hall meeting held on August 16, 2011 at the Wayne County Community College. Congressman John Conyers and Congressman Hansen Clarke along with Wayne County District School of Continuing Education hosted the event. Over 5,000 people attended the Job Fair.  Congressman Hansen Clarke extended thanks to the DJCC volunteers during his speech and will be providing the trainees with Certificates of Congressional Recognition for the fine job that they did. Medial coverage from all local television stations and local newspapers covered the event.
