On May 2, 2011, the Detroit Job Corps Center (DJCC) Advance Training Weatherization trade was presented with a special Congressional Recognition Award and Service Tribute from Congressman Hansen Clarke’s office. This tribute was given to honor and commend the Detroit Job Corps Center for its commitment and determination in making a positive impact on  the lives of those within the community through the Weatherization Advance Training Program.
