Detroit Job Corps Center’s (DJCC) trainees were invited by Wayne County Executive,  Mr. Robert Ficano, to spend two days job shadowing county personnel and received hands on experience in professions related to their academic studies at DJCC.  The intensive two day mentoring training went extremely well.  Wayne County Executive Office will be presenting a partnership proposal for DJCC to do ongoing paid apprenticeship with trainees as it relates to their professional development.
