The students of the Detroit Job Corps Center were fortunate to visit the courtroom and chambers of Chief Judge Denise Page Hood of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. They were able to meet the staff and learn about the work process of a federal court. The courtroom for the Chief Judge is called the “Two Million Dollar” Courtroom based on the elaborate ornamentation of the interior.
