On Monday, October 17,2011 the Detroit Job Corps Center Advance Training Weatherization trainees volunteered with the Detroit Rescue Mission to help “Clean & Stage” a house in the community for a homeless mother and her children. On Wednesday, October 19,2011, the Detroit Job Corps Center (DJCC) volunteered at the Detroit Rescue Mission(DRMM) telethon. All proceeds were donated to help provide services to the Detroit Rescue Mission residents. Telethon was aired on Channel 4. The DJCC was acknowledged for their community service.
