During the week of October 18, 2010 to October 23, 2010 the DJCC held week long acitvities for “Make a Difference Day”.  Trainees volunteered at the following organizations:

Focus Hope, DTE, Capuchin Soup Kitchens, Gleaners Community Bank, Genesis Battered Women Shelter, Focus Hope, DTW, Veterans Hospital, Michigan’s Veterans Administration, Forgotten Harvest Food Pantry, World Wide Medical Relief and Tried Stone Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition, Center Director, Ms. Cunesha Sanders received the “Make a Difference” Award from Payne-Pulliam School of Trade.
