Denison Job Corps has the privilege of being a Center for Excellence. In this new way of training, a group of students enter into the program with a trade goal identified. The very first cohort had a total of 15 young ladies. This group started on May 23, 2011. The cohort progressed as a group through the Career Technical Training area of Certified Nurse Assistant. All 15 students of the cohort took state boards on October 20, 2011. All students passed their State Boards. Some students look forward to employment. Six of the students will continue their learning with additional training.
