Students from Delaware Valley attended the NYATEP Conference in Saratoga Springs, NY including Mikaeel Puckerine, and Gerard Benton, along with our Work Based Learning Coordinator, Khairanis Padu.

Mikaeel Puckerine (a.k.a. “Fly Mike”) states that, “old school rap has more of a message and that he wants to rap about positive things.” The theme song for the Y2Y video, “One Love” was inspired by his surroundings on the streets of Brooklyn. He wants to send out a message of peace and love and working together as one to stop the violence. This video can be viewed at

At the NYATEP Conference in Saratoga Springs, NY last week, Delaware Valley was represented by Mickaeel Puckerine, Gerard Benton and Khairanis Padu and the “One Love” video which received a standing ovation by all who were in attendance.
