On Saturday, October 10 & 11, twenty students volunteered in Jeffersonville, NY for their Octoberfest celebration.  The students handed out handfuls of “Holi-color” (cornstarch and food coloring) to onlookers to help color local K-6 students, worked game booths handing out prizes to the winners, helped local businesses, and assisted in the backyard park making paper hats for the children.  It was a great time had by all and the Jeffersonville Chamber of Commerce couldn’t thank the students enough for all of their help.  Activities for the weekend included a parade on Saturday, live bands, bed races down main street, a build your own boat race, authentic Octoberfest food, and so much more.
