On October 17, 2015, students from the Culinary and Hotel /Lodging trades gathered to assist at the former Narrowsburg Central School to serve the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance at their 40th Anniversary Gala celebration.  Students began the evening by helping to prepare hand-passed appetizers for over 240 guests, and to serve these appetizers to the arriving guests.  Throughout the evening, students covered a variety of areas and took part in every aspect of the service.  They served the line, set and cleared tables, provided beverages and dessert platters.  The clean up was intense since it was a full china event.  The dishes were rented and had to all be pre-rinsed, sorted and racked for the company to pick them up.  All twelve students did an outstanding job, and it was noticed and commented on by many of the other help and guests.  Participation in this event shone a very positive light on Delaware Valley Job Corps.
