Whitney M. Young Jr. Job Corps Center culinary students Isaiah Carter and DeAlan Daniels have traveled to Camp Horizons in Harrisonburg, VA for their Work Based Learning assignment! Carter and Daniels

joined the food service crew to feed campers ages 6-16 during their summer camp sessions. The 6-week work experience will help them learn on-the-job skills and expand their job outlook once they graduate.

During their time off, both students enjoyed the camp pool and explored the Shenandoah Valley area. This experience at Camp Horizons also allowed them to work with 60+ counselors from 12 states and 8 countries.
