The Whitney M. Young Jr. Job Corps Center hosted a very successful career fair. Employers from the region were present with special guest employer Fincantieri Shipbuilding, who gave a presentation about their Wisconsin shipbuilding yards. They also touched on Jobs and apprenticeships available to Job Corps students and outlined how these jobs lead to long-term sustainable careers. The career fair was attended by nearly 10 Job Corps Centers, as well as students from Whitney M. Young Jr. Job Corps Center. In addition to networking with employers, students attended resumé development, interview skills, and job search sessions.
