Youth Apprenticeship Week is still going strong at Whitney M. Young Jr. Job Corps Center! Yesterday, Building Construction Technology (BCT) Instructor Pete Noftsger, Home Builders Institute Apprenticeship Coordinator Tyler Gray, and Work-based Learning Coordinator Raley Martin took a group of BCT students to visit the UA Local 502 Plumbers, Pipefitters, & Service Technicians Training Facility. The students were given a presentation about apprenticeship opportunities in the Plumbing, Pipefitting, and HVAC trades. Afterwards, they were given a very engaging tour of the training facility. Thank you to our students for displaying outstanding professionalism, and special thanks to Jeremy Killebrew and UA Local 502 for hosting our students!
