The students at Columbia Basin Job Corps organized a service learning project for Earth Day that was helpful to the community and educational for the students. The City of Moses Lake storm drains empty to the lake. The students and staff of Columbia Basin helped place fabric filters in the drains. As depicted in the picture above, the students also marked over 200 storm drains with a special label to educate the public about the storm water draining directly to the lake.
