Willeen Anderson, our REC staff had a conversation with a student and struck up a conversation; because he is usually alone and doesn’t talk much.  She asked  “what are some things,  you are interested in”? he replied “I love boxing, but I have a natural talent for drawing and I can draw anything.”  Ms. Anderson then said ” Wow I didn’t know you could draw”.    He said “you never asked me”.  So she requested he draw something on the spot.  After that he opened up on so many things as far as his future plans after Job Corps , She says she was so intrigued because this young man barely says two words . She told him “you’re our best kept secret and we’re gonna call this drawing ” Through the eyes of Shawndrelle”
