On Sunday, September 25th, 2022,  our Community  “Never Give Up Never Quit Team”, from Americas Cheerful Charities, operating from Willoughby, Ohio,  in collaboration with our “Cleveland Job Corps” Team, went on a mission crusade, together,  visiting “The Perfecting Church” and surrounding communities in Detroit, Michigan.  In other words, together we “hit the streets” to reach out.  One on one “grass roots” outreach style.  Our Team served and rendered,  Random Acts of Kindness to make someone Smile with HOPE and renewed trust. Embracing FAITH over Fear.

While simultaneously our Team provided “Hope For a Better Future Today”; for our young adults.  Ages 16 to 24. Offering families that have or know a young adult in this age frame, FREE Education and Training opportunities in Flint and Detroit Job Corps, our sibling Centers.  Meeting up with our Job Corps Alumni Ja’Sonya Cousins to join our Collaborative Initiative and appoint her as Ambassador in Detroit.  Ms. Cousins is a graduate  of our Cleveland Job Corps Center, who resides in Detroit.  And is willing and ready to “pay  forward” the foundation she received here at our Cleveland Job Corps Center that has sustained her in her journey of Success.  Our team was also able to serve the Detroit Men and Officers in Blue from all around the city and districts, from cadets, to chiefs and all those in between as the Perfecting Church was acknowledging and recognizing the Men and Women in Blue and thanking them for their service.  Our team was able to provide them with flyers and or brochures so that when they encounter young adults on the streets of Detroit, they can provide them with the HOPE that our Job Corps Programs has to offer for a better future today.  That is FREE Education and Training with Room and Board.
