Proud of His Accomplishments

“There is no elevator to success you have to take the stairs. It is all a process you just have to stick with it,” said JuJuan Pinson reciting Zig Ziglar’s quote. “Every student that comes to the Cleveland Job Corps should know and apply this quote he recommended.”
JuJuan left his home to embark on a new journey at the Cleveland Job Corps Center on July 8, 2019. He took full advantage of the opportunities while he was enrolled in the program.
Very active on campus, JuJuan served as President and Vice President of the Student Government Association and a dorm leader. On July 3, 2021, JuJuan graduated from the Cleveland Job Corps Center, earning his high school diploma from Penn Foster in addition to attaining Clinical Medical Assistant and Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide certifications.
He encountered a few obstacles while enrolled but overcame them with the help of his Clinical Medical Assistant Instructor Angela Laureano and Residential Living Supervisor Samone White. “They were always pushing me to do my best,” said JuJuan. “I have a better understanding of the phrase it takes a village because it was the Cleveland Job Corps village that acted as my support system.”
JuJuan is employed at Algart Healthcare as a Patient Care Assistant. He plans to attend college to fulfill his dream of becoming a Registered Nurse. “I am proud of myself because I stuck to my plan to complete two trades, and I did just that, “ stated JuJuan.
