On June 3rd, 2022,  Ms. Kimberly Peavy, Program Manager, and Talent Acquisition Scout for the Cleveland Clinic, that is “consistently ranked as one of the best hospitals in the United States”, was on Center.   Announcing  to our students, that the Clinic is opening up the pipelines for job opportunities throughout the Clinic;  for our Cleveland Job Corps graduates.  This mayor employer in Cleveland, seeks to offer employment to our Cleveland Job Corps graduates via collaborative partnership efforts being explored here on;  that have been in the works now, for quite some time, not coming into fruition, until now.  Sounding very promising as  our students can apply prior to completion in hopes that upon completing and graduating in our programs they will be ready and able to transition right into a job at the Cleveland Clinic.   And not only into medical jobs, but, all kinds of jobs.  From janitorial, maintenance, medical, pharmaceutical,  administrative and the list goes on.

Wrapping services around the most minimal need to the highest need of the individuals being served; once they enter the atriums of any Cleveland Clinic entity.  The list for job opportunities is vast. The job opportunities impressive. Promoting from within is encouraged.  And retention is a must.  Great connection made for our Cleveland Job Corps Center by our Career Technical Training Dept., Career Services, and Academic’s Team, that demonstrates what happens when departments work together in one accord  via outreach efforts in collaboration with entities such as the Cleveland Clinic. This concerted effort finally promises to  materialize and translates into job opportunities for our graduates.  As a “pilot” or “test run” the connection will  bridge a segue into a partnership that will culminate into an exciting and impressive series of events leading towards a career climax for our students.  With their Cleveland Job Corps, Education and Training foundation resulting in a Win- Win revolving finale; leading to our students SUCCESS!
