On November 11, 2016, students and staff at Cleveland Job Corps celebrat-ed all the men and women that have fought, and are fighting, to preserve freedom and protect America. Veter-ans Day originated as Armistice Day and marked the end of hostilities of World War I that occurred at the 11th hour, on the 11th day, of the 11th month. To show appreciation to those who have served in the United States Military armed forces, the Cleveland Job Corps Center with the support of Sodexo Food Services, hosted a Veterans Day Luncheon. Cleveland Job Corps Veteran staff; Joe Pearson (US Airforce), Kenneth Hardy (US Army), Anthony Rasheed (US Army), Charles Crenshaw (US Army), Anthony Taylor (US Na-vy), Sabrena Cottrell (US Army Reserves), Andre Townsend (US Marines) and Elliot Taylor (US Army) received a complimentary lunch from the Center to thanked them for their service. The Cleveland Job Corps “Family” is honored to work alongside all of our Veteran’s and THANK every veteran, soldier, and their families for their ser-vice and sacrifices.
