On Thursday, September 22, 2016, the 100 Black Men of Greater Cleveland began a mentoring pro-gram at the Cleveland Job Corps Center. The theme for this first meeting was “What They See is What They Can Be”. Each of the members spoke about their current careers, educational backgrounds and the struggles they endured to achieve their goals. Members of 100 Black Men will meet with the students at the Cleveland Job Corps every 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm. The Cleveland chapter is part of the national organization of the 100 Black Men of America, their mission is to provide mentoring, economic development, health & wellness and educational awareness through its 125 chapters.
