With two brothers who had already successfully graduated from the Job Corps program, 22-year-old Cleveland native Reymone Keiths knew it would be a good fit. “I enrolled in the Cleveland Job Corps Center (CJCC) to get my high school diploma, set a good example for my sisters and to acquire a better quality of life,” explained Mr. Keiths.

He arrived at the CJCC on August 25, 2015. Mr. Keiths conveyed that Job Corps saved his life, taught him how to be patient with other people and respect his peers. He completed the Medical Office Support trade in addition to the Private Security Off-Center Training (OCT) at Cuyahoga Community College. “Students should take full advantage of everything, stay focused and know that they are in full control of their outcomes,” advised Mr. Keiths. “I had great teachers that helped me to grow and learn, as well as my experience living with a diverse group of people.”

Mr. Keiths was recently accepted into the Carl D Perkin Job Corps’ Advance Training program on March 20, 2017. While there he will pursue his Advanced Security and Protective Service certification. Afterward, he plans to attend college and major in Criminal Justice to fulfill his aspirations of becoming a CIA or FBI agent, a promise he made to his grandmother. Mr. Keiths has a very bright future and everyone at Job Corps is proud of his accomplishments
