The Cleveland Job Corps Center has joined the community resource database of the United Way 2-1-1 of Greater
Cleveland. The United Way 2-1-1 provides free, 24/7 confidential services to residents in 21 counties. Callers
dialing 2-1-1, receive free access to Specialists that use the 2-1-1 community resource database to connect residents
with resources for education, utilities, legal services, food, shelter, counseling, employment, child care and other services. Each 2-1-
1 Specialist has over 90 hours of training prior to working with clients. Specialists provide callers with detailed information on each program, including a description, eligibility, required documents, intake/access method, fees, hours of
service and phone numbers. The United Way 2-1-1 community resource database is a daily maintained and updated library of over 18,000 government, health and social service programs.
