Isaiah Amill decided to follow in the footsteps of his sister, Natasha Rodriguez-2010 Cleveland Job Corps Home Health Aide graduate, and enroll in the Cleveland Job Corps Center. “My sister loved the program,” explained Isaiah. “She encouraged me to attend and told me that Job Corps would help me get the structure I need.” Prior to enrolling in the Cleveland Job Corps, Isaiah lacked direction and had dropped out of Lorrain High School. He did not know what he wanted in life nor what career goals to pursue.

Driven by the opportunity to complete the program and achieve his goals, Isaiah finished the program in four months. On February 14, 2019, Isaiah graduated from the Cleveland Job Corps Center with his Carpentry, Scaffold User, Scaffold Safety, Occupational Safety and Health Administration 10 and Green Building Awareness credentials. He also earned his High School Diploma from Penn Foster.

“I highly recommend Job Corps. I love the structure and knowing that the staff knew what to do in any situation,” acknowledged Isaiah. “I attribute my success to the structure that Job Corps provides and the phenomenal staff that encouraged me through the difficult and happy times.”
Isaiah is employed with Integrity Insulation as a High Wall Installer. His plans are to keep working for Integrity Insulation because he loves working there and learning new skills. He also laughed and said proudly that he would be buying his first car soon.
