While attending the Cleveland Job Corps Center, Christopher Sharp met his wife, Andrea Adams State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA). On March 29, 2017, they graduated together and started working together at Euclid Hospital in Euclid, Ohio.
“I wanted to establish a more secure future for my wife and two children, so I joined the Army,” explained Christopher. He completed boot camp at Fort Leonard Wood in the Missouri Ozarks on October 19, 2019. The proud twenty-six-year-old Cleveland Ohio native is now working as a Diesel Mechanic for the United States Army. Christopher is stationed at Fort Irwin, California.
Christopher earned his high school diploma while enrolled through the Center’s partnership with Penn Foster. He also obtained a Medical Administration Assistant, ServSafe, and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and First certifications. Christopher often volunteered his services performing neighborhood beatification assignments within senior communities. “Job Corps is a new start on life. It provides structure and prepares you for the world,” Christopher admitted.
