Cleveland Job Corps Changed My Life

My life has changed since being enrolled in Cleveland Job Corps,” explained Antania Williams. “I came from not wanting to be anything in life to transforming into a determined high school graduate with my State Tested Nursing Assistant license, so I believe if I can do it anyone can do it as well!”

During her enrollment at the Cleveland Job Corps Center, Antania obtained her State Tested Nursing Assistant, First Aide, Serve Safe and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation credentials. Additionally, she earned her High School Diploma from Penn Foster. Antania was very active on campus. She was on the dance team, played sports, and helped residential staff and the academic instructors after the training day.
Antania stated that State Tested Nursing Instructor Carla Widener influenced her greatly and was the most caring teacher she’s had in a school setting. She completed the program on May 6, 2020. Antania is employed at Singleton Homes as a State Tested Nursing Assistant. She plans to continue her education and work toward becoming a physician.
“Everyone can do whatever they set out to do no matter where or what you come from,” expressed Antania Williams. “Everyone has a success story, what will be yours?”
