Yesterday, 02-15-22, we Welcomed 11 new students of 12 expected to our Cleveland Job Corps Center. (CJCC)  That is a great number,  and Mr. Marquis, Residential Counselor in our H Dorm,  reports today that “they all seem to be in very good spirits, with a positive attitude!  Happy to be here”.

CJCC is upward bound doing everything we can to get our Center back on track on boarding new students as we bid farewell and best wishes to completing students departing.  It is exciting to welcome new students.  Today is a new day and we are ready.  To provide HOPE for a better future today.   One student at a time.  One small cohort at a time.  It takes a village.  We are that village.  We are those “bridges of HOPE” these students will cross towards their success.  Everyone here at our CJCC plays an important part in the process for this to happen and “together everyone accomplishes more” as the TEAM that we are here at CJCC.

A big THANK YOU to everyone who has worked hard to make this happen.  Let’s all keep up with everything that entails bringing new students on board in 2022.  2020 and 2021 were years of many uncharted challenges. Yet together, we all have overcome. Now it’s time to compensate for time lost.  We are upward bound towards providing HOPE for the SUCCESS of the future leaders of our tomorrow…because here at  our CJCC, failure is not an option!
