JOB CORPS Mr Bob Redd, Tool Representative from DEWALT Tool Manufacturing for Construction, was here on Center on Tuesday , November 15th, during our National Apprenticeship Week.
He did an amazing tool demonstration. “Hands on” for the students in our Carpentry Trade shop, says Mr. Eric Larsen, Carpentry instructor. Redd is based out of Akron. And goes around Trade areas, Open Houses, and Trade Centers, such as our Cleveland Job Corps Center to demonstrate these amazing tools. Our students had an opportunity to cut and or shoot a couple wood pieces. In exchange for “feedback” on these tools; he brought with him for demonstration purposes.
Cordless tools. A jigsaw. A router,. A finishing gun and a cable saw. Students and Larsen, were like kids in a toy store as you can see in the pictures. Taking turns on testing these powerful tools of their trade and giving their “feedback” to Redd.
