Making phone calls, texting or emailing students off and on Center. Checking and rechecking that requirements have been met.

Planning the decor, purchasing all items needed for Celebration of Commencement. From balloons, roses, cupcakes, etc., and getting ready to set up and decorate the REC for such an event. Then taking it all down. Security and traffic control management. An event such as this requires a lot of manpower. And all hands on deck.

Finding a Keynote and Student speaker. A singer for the Star Spangled Banner and all key staff with special assignments on stage as part of the program. Putting together and typing up the program booklets, and ensuring graduation gowns are prepped and ready. All, tasks that take time and much attention to detail.

That being said…give up an applause to all students and staff that said “present” to making this grand “finale” celebration of accomplishment, a reality for our graduates this Friday. They know who they are…the list would fill up a page and I don’t want to leave out anyone. Thank you for all we do, for those we mutually serve. as Together. Everyone. Accomplishes More. Because there is no “I” in TEAM…! Your li’l grain of salt does not go unnoticed…! And the piece of the puzzle you hold no matter how big or small, is ever so necessary to complete the picture.
