Exploring venues in the City for Evening Weekend Studies – Community Resources

Job Corps was in the house at The Pivot Center for Art, Dance and Expression at the Community Arts Center.  Located at 2937 25th St. Cleveland.  This past Saturday, Jan. 07, 2023.  First event of this year. Where student and staff in a community group setting were  learning techniques for drawing ideas to create a COMIC Book. Fascinating techniques. Developing creative juices.  Meeting new people. Networking.  Mentorship possibilities. Thanks to  Residential Counselor RC  Veronica Brazil. For willingly transporting one student during the holidays, to this activity. Making it happen. 😊👍 Developing partnerships with community existing resources.  The Pivot Center is a part of an extension of the Cleveland Museum of Art.  It is FREE for all ages and all artistical abilities.  Open to the general public.  “Excellent venue for weekend/evenings studies.  Ready made curriculum. With a variety of multicultural workshops presented by community “movers & shakers”. By the community.  for the community.  And because of the community.  Relaxing and amazing  atmosphere in classroom settings.  Equipped with arts and craft supplies and all sorts of materials that can be used to create art.  All you need is to use your imagination.  In tranquil surroundings where you can find peace and solace there.  With one student at a time.  Or with a full group.  Off Center. On the weekend.    Expanding our students and our staffs horizons.  Encouraging and Developing full potential with enthusiasm and creativity and inspiration.  Creating moments and memories,  in time remembered.  Imagine the possibilities…says Business Community Liaison Wally Espada.  As Student Jarrel Harris, student attended, was observed  very concentrated on task at hand. And, later  was able to make meaningful connections with community activists and Music Studio Developer / Ryan Easter, Area Director at Notes For Notes – notesfornotes.org  – Digital Studio. Who happened to be at workshop with his daughter that “loves to draw”, he said.
