Many Muslims in the United States
observe Eid al
-Adha, also known as
the Feast of the Sacrifice, each year.
This festival commemorates Ibrahim’s
(Abraham) willingness to sacrifice
his son to God.
The CJCC
-Diversity Group celebrated
it with our students at the Big D
Sports Park in Ogden, UT.
It was a great time symbolizing
friendship and diversity with students
and the staff members from
10 different countries. We had students
from Somalia, Ethiopia, Sudan,
Libya, Iraq, and Thailand…..
Everybody participated in fun activities,
games, as well as, delicious
food, with the addition of the authentic
dish prepared by our students.
