September 10, 2014, was a non-training day
on our center. We had about 100 instructional
staff attend training on campus and an additional
50 Academic Leaders met at Management
Training Corporation from around the
country for an academic leadership training.
As the demands on preparing students to be
college and career ready have evolved over
the past several years, Dr. Marzano and the
Marzano Research Laboratory have partnered
with Clearfield Cob Corps to create an academically
responsive program to meet these
challenges. In order to maintain an academically
rigorous and sustainable program in the
21st Century, Dr. Marzano addressed the instructional
framework which defines quality
teaching and quality learning. The professional
development provided by Dr. Marzano and
the continued support of his team will help
differentiate Clearfield Job Corps from other
learning alternatives for young people.
