Clearfield gets new Deputy Director: Reyna Delgadillo

I am first generation Mexican‐American. I was born and raised in a small agricultural town in Southern California. I decided early on that I did not want to spend the rest of my life working in the fields and decided to go to college. I went to college at San Bernardino State University, and majored in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice. I came across Job Corps by way of a coworker telling me about a counselor position being open at the Inland Empire Job Corps. I was hired on as the Non‐Res Female Counselor in April of 1995. My intentions were not to stay and continue looking for other employment. Almost 21 years later, here I am back at Clearfield JCC for the third time around. I love the program and how it can help our students; but, most of all I love working with the students we serve. I have been at 6 different centers during my tenure with MTC; Inland, Clearfield, Gary, Brunswick, Jacksonville, North Texas. Every center has been a great experience and I have met some wonderful staff and students. I am very grateful for the opportunity to return to Clearfield as your Deputy Director, and look forward to working with everyone and learning from you and our students. I believe we are never too old to learn and we should be open to learn from each other and from our students.
