Saturday 8/13/16 RA Kareece Thompson took students Johnnie Vining, Justin Cornelius, Roberto Yong, and Evan Nabors all helped volunteer to oversee a 5k marathon to support the Young Futures Homeless Shelter​ in Ogden. The duties that they engaged in were keeping runners safe along their route, encouraging runners along their run, and handing water to finishing runners. It was all for a great cause as the event helped raise money for the youth homeless shelter and gave the Ogden community a chance to interact with shelter in a positive event.
