The center held it’s 7th annual blood drive with Hoxworth Blood Center on August 1st.   A record was set this year.  A total of 54 units of whole blood was donated.  Each unit of blood can help save three lives.  As a result of the success of   the center’s annual drives, plans are underway to have blood drives twice a year.
