Alicia Herring enrolled in the Cincinnati Job Corps in July of 2008.  She completed the certified nursing assistant program and passed the state exam.  Alicia had higher aspirations to continue her education in the health services field and enrolled at the Cincinnati State Technical & Community College.  While attending college, Alicia worked part-time as a patient care assistant and also as a cashier at a local supermarket.  Things were not easy for her, but she persevered and recently graduated with an Associates degree in Clinical Laboratory Science.  Alicia is now gainfully employed at the Tri-Health Medical Center as a Lab Technician.
