Alex recalls living on the streets in Cleveland, Ohio and feeling bad about his lack of education.  He only finished the eighth grade and knew he had to do something to change his life.  It was not until he enrolled at the Cincinnati Job Corps in March 2009 did things turn around for Alex.  In 18 months, Alex has accomplished the following:

• Earned his GED (General Equivalency Diploma) with one of the highest scores possible.
• Completed the industry-recognized MicroSoft/Office Administration Program.
• Enrolled in the local community college to pursue a career in engineering.
• Obtained a 4.0 grade point average in his first three terms.
